Kennedy, Johnson, Connally Met
A presidential visit to the state of Texas was first agreed upon by John F. Kennedy, by his vice president Lyndon Baines Johnson, and by Texas Governor John Connally while all three men were together in a meeting at the Cortez Hotel in El Paso, Texas, on June 6, 1963.
