Oswald Enlists in the USMC

Lee Harvey Oswald enlists in the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17. Even as a Marxist, Oswald wished to join the US Marines. He idolized his older brother Robert and wore Robert’s US Marine ring. This relationship seems to have transcended any ideological conflict for Oswald.
